And so the plastic-faced media tour begins.
Heidi Montag has recently come under fire for undergoing 10 plastic surgeries in one day. And even though the hot tranny mess' People magazine cover says "I'm obsessed" with plastic surgery, she's not addicted!
The wannabe pop star explains herself to ABC's Good Morning America:
"I would say that none of those people know me at all. And that's just a judgment. I'm not addicted. If you're addicted to something, you have to do it all the time, not once every couple years, if even."
Wow. Since when did Heidi become Dr. Drew???
Critics are also blasting Heidi's plastic surgeon Dr. Frank Ryan, saying he put the Barbie-esque reality star under the knife for 10 hours!
While Dr. Ryan may think the 10 hour "tweaks" weren't endangering his patient, plastic surgeon Dr. Thomas Romo argues:
"You're pushing the envelope there definitely, from a medical point of view, where you're going to set up complications. And that's irresponsible from a medical point of view. … My ethics would say that you don't put your patient at that risk."
Romo also points out that surgical patients risk complications if they're under anesthetics for more than six hours, saying "After seven hours, you're written up at our hospital."
And what about Heidi's new CD that conveniently dropped right around the unveiling of her new body?
She says "It was all God's timing" and insists she didn't get all the work done to create publicity for the Superficial album.
Riiight.
When asked by Good Morning America if she could sing a little somethin' somethin', she said they'd have to buy the album. But the interviewer pressed on begging her to sing anything. Heidi's response?
"I'd rather not, I just got a lot of surgeries, so my jaw is still very delicate."
Ha!
At the end of the interview George Stephanopoulos adds his two cents to the whole controversy, simply saying "It's just sad."
