After mulling several release dates for his new album, Usher announced Wednesday (January 27) that Raymond v. Raymond will drop March 30.

The singer has already released several high-profile singles from the album, including "Papers" and "Hey Daddy"; although other Usher tracks have leaked recently, only those two songs have been confirmed for the upcoming album. Usher is set to premiere the video for "Hey Daddy" Thursday at 6 a.m. ET exclusively on MTV.

Usher worked with a number of producers on the album, including frequent collaboration Jermaine Dupri on the track "Fooling Around." "People heard my songs [for Usher]; his album is coming," Dupri told MTV News, adding that he didn't know if Usher would be back in the studio before the album's release. "I don't know yet. His album date is set. I doubt you'll get new records. You're gonna get what's basically there, but it's a solid record. His album is a solid record. People gonna love it."

Late last year, producer Bryan Michael Cox spoke to MTV News about working with Usher on the album. "I think Usher is in a place where he really wants to express what's going on in his life, as any artist would," Cox said, referring to Usher's divorce from Tameka Foster-Raymond. "All the greats did it. Marvin Gaye did Here, My Dear. All the greats express where they are personally."

In the weeks leading up to the album's release, Usher has a number of appearances lined up, including the Grammy Awards on Sunday, where he will pay tribute to Michael Jackson. He'll also perform at halftime of the NBA All-Star Game on February 14 and at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games.
