Old People Can Be Pimps Too!

Old People Can Be Pimps Too!

billmwenn2635685.jpg

You work it Bill Murray! Rock that half-full head of gray hair and sagging skin!

Last Sunday, Bill took his aging hipster self to a party at the Sundance Film Festival. Sporting a knee brace and a crutch, Tiny Tim Bill was working the room like someone half his age!

He reportedly was socializing with everyone at the bar, shaking it on the dance floor, and even landed himself a hot, young blonde to party with. Around 1 am, he was seen leaving with the girl in tow!

Well done! That old dog must have some decent tricks!

Eminem And Elton John Lead Our Favorite Grammy Collaborations

Eminem And Elton John Lead Our Favorite Grammy Collaborations

Beyoncé's team-ups with Prince and Tina Turner were also among the best.
By Kyle Anderson

Though most of the focus is on the awards, the real highlights of the Grammy come in the live performances. Given the size of the audience, the high-profile nature of the show and the positive effect a good performance can have on album sales, artists tend to pull out all the stops for the awards show.

Though there are a number of classic performances in the annals of Grammy history, the signature ones tend to be the collaborations — the unusual team-ups that often can't be seen anywhere other than the yearly broadcast. This year's show will include collaborations between Mary J. Blige and Andrea Bocelli (who will perform "Bridge Over Troubled Water" together as a tribute to Haiti); Drake, Lil Wayne, Eminem and Travis Barker (who will likely power through the "Forever" remix); Jamie Foxx, T-Pain, Doug E. Fresh and Slash together for a yet-to-be-revealed song; and Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Smokey Robinson, Carrie Underwood and Usher (who will pay tribute to the late, great Michael Jackson).

But will those collaborations live up to some of the best in Grammy history? Any time you talk about collaborations, you have to bring up the game-changing pairing of Eminem and Elton John on "Stan" in 2001. The rapper had come under fire for the homophobia on The Marshall Mathers LP, so teaming up with the openly gay John not only made for a great musical moment, but also helped him quell the accusations of hate speech.

Beyoncé has been part of a pair of legendary duets at the Grammys: one with Tina Turner (the two divas rocked through "Proud Mary" in 2008) and another with Prince (they hooked up on a "Purple Rain" medley in 2004). Both of those collaborations made perfect sense, but sometimes the joy comes in hookups that seem to come from left field.

Case in point: In 2006, Jay-Z and Linkin Park were performing "Numb/Encore" from their mash-up album Collision Course when LP rapper Mike Shinoda broke into a verse from the Beatles' "Yesterday." That was the cue for Paul McCartney to enter and finish the song, creating the only time Jigga, LP and McCartney had ever shared a stage together.

And only a year ago, the 2009 version of the show was full of amazing team-ups that went three, four and five people deep. While Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus' "Fifteen" made all the teens swoon, the real meat came when Al Green, Justin Timberlake, Keith Urban and Boyz II Men got together on "Let's Stay Together." But the highlight of the night was most certainly the hip-hop portion of the show, which brought together T.I., Kanye West, Lil Wayne, M.I.A. and Jay-Z for a run through "Swagga Like Us."

K-Stew Wants Twi-Hards To See Her New Movie

K-Stew Wants Twi-Hards To See Her New Movie

kstewwenn5389910.jpg

Sounds like a desperate plea to us. Robert Pattinson would never have to try and convince a Twilighter to see any of his other films.

Just saying.

Kristen Stewart has been working the publicity trail for her two upcoming indie flicks, The Runaways and Welcome To The Rileys. While the buzz for The Runaways renders KStew's lackluster promoting skills unnecessary, her other flick needs more attention. What better way to get it than to appeal to the ones who made her a household name to begin with!

During a recent interview, KStew explained that she thought her flick Welcome To The Rileys is a "really, really good story" for Twilight fans. In Rileys, Kristen plays an underage stripper who goes home with James Gandolfini to be his surrogate daughter.

And what about this movie is suppose to appeal to Twi-Hards? No one wants to see your frail, pale, bony body nekkid and James is old enough to be most Twilight fan's father.

Not seeing the connection KStew!

Lloyd Banks Says 'Look Forward To Me Dropping New Records'

Lloyd Banks Says 'Look Forward To Me Dropping New Records'

'Check the music — that's one thing that's not going nowhere,' the G-Unit MC says.

Lloyd Banks has been hard at work since he returned to the States a few weeks ago. He called us up here at MTV News and although he was advised by his legal team to avoid speaking about his recent assault and robbery case, he did give details on upcoming music. There is an official LP that may drop around summer and an official single with Juelz Santana called "Beamer, Benz or Bentley" dropping in the next couple of weeks.

"I'm just starting back," he said. "I've been so focused with taking over the street and people hearing me back on that market — so when I come with the official records, they'll appreciate it more. 'Beamer, Benz or Bentley,' It's a club record, party record, car record. It's a lot of energy and something new. It's a sound that ain't out there right now."

Banks is about to go back on an overseas tour lasting from February until April. In the spring, he due to start a U.S. trek with the G-Unit, during which he'll be recording the album and hopefully coming up with a name for the project. On the street level, a Lost Tapes-style mixtape of unreleased songs is coming soon — and, of course, V5 is out now.

"I got a few new followers behind V5," Banks said. "People just catching on. For those who been following me since last September, they should be familiar that it's the fifth volume of the Five and Better series — my personal favorite. I kind of envisioned it this way. I told them I was gonna give them five mixtapes in a year.

"It's sequenced like an album. I wanted to go through different zones," he added. "I had records like 'Sh---y City,' which had significance because it's part two from the 'Sh---y City' that was a part of the Gang Green series. The record 'Look Ma,' it's my most personal record on the album. I'm speaking to my mother. I got a young mom — she appreciates it and she loves to see me successful. 'Rather Be Me,' I had that record for a few years. My favorite record is 'I Do.' I was getting up to the beat for two weeks. I had a good zone on this mixtape."

Banks also wanted to thank his fans, who have been concerned about him given his recent legal troubles.

"I wanna send my thanks to all the fans that supported me. I ain't been tuned in. My peoples put me on to what's been going on. Check the music — that's one thing that's not going nowhere. My talent is crazy. I will be in the studio later. They can look forward to me dropping new records on ThisIs50.com and MTVNews.com. I love all my fans, man. I want everybody to look forward to my third album. It's definitely gonna be worth the wait."

Glee creator Ryan Murphy has announced that the adorable Chris Colfer's character will be getting an "out and proud" boyfriend for the second season of the hit show!

They're casting a "male Mercedes" to pair up with the fashionable Kurt in addition to looking for a "sort of Eve Harrington [from All About Eve] to kind of steal Rachel's [played by Lea Michele] thunder a little" and "an R&B singing teen" who could be a potential love interest for actress Amber Riley's Mercedes character.

Glee is coming back on April 13.

We can't wait to see how the plot thickens!

Kanye West Fires Back At Criticism Of His Fashion

Kanye West Fires Back At Criticism Of His Fashion

'Very few human beings are strong enough to take constant hate,' he says on his blog of his inclusion on PETA's worst-dressed celebrities list.
By Gil Kaufman

After months of keeping his cool, Kanye West blew up on his blog in one of his classic rants on Friday (January 29) after being criticized by animal-rights organization PETA after he was pictured wearing fur during Paris fashion week.

"When it's all said and done, remember the fearless, remember the dreamers, remember those who represent the ghetto ... The fairy tale of nothing to something," West wrote in his typical all-caps mode.

"I'm briefly saddened by negative comments, but I have to remember those people are scared, incapable or just plain idiots," he continued. "We are the f---ing rock stars baby. No cocaine, just life my n---as!! No cocaine, just life! It's funny to me when fashion bloggers down our outfits and then super jock outlandish sh-- on the runway but they dress mad prude and don't live fashion."

West appeared to be reacting to PETA's recently released list of "Worst-Dressed" celebrities, which was topped by Madonna and also featured actress Maggie Gyllenhaal.

"Kanye rants about not winning Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards, but what he really deserves is a 'lifetime bereavement award' for all of the corpses in his closet," the slam on the PETA site read. "Kanye, we love the quirky suits, but you can't claim to be 'the voice of this generation' while flaunting fur, which is old-school and cruel."

He was also taken to task by PETA Vice President Dan Matthews, who said, "Kanye can't help making himself look like an idiot, whether at an awards show or a fashion show," referring to the floor-length lynx fur coats West and girlfriend Amber Rose wore during Men's Fashion Week in Paris. "He and his girlfriend look like pathetic creatures from a shabby roadside zoo."

West, who has kept his cool since being heavily criticized for jumping onstage during Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at MTV's Video Music Awards in September, could seemingly not hold his tongue this time.

"We live it, man," he continued on his site. "F--- that, we live it!!! We live it so hard people live through us! We represent your inner spirit!! The child in us all, the brutal honesty, the naivety, the brave warrior, the adrenaline that allows a mother to lift a car if her child was trapped under it! Remember, there was a time when everyone dissed Michael Jackson every chance they could. Imagine the pressure of being a true icon. Very few human beings are strong enough to take constant hate!!!"

He goes on to say that he feels criticized when he does creative things and then equally dissed when he colors outside the lines. "At the end of the day, who are we hurting???" he asked. "Oh, 'the new black???' Since Barack is president blacks don't like fur coats, red leather and fried chicken anymore?! When you truly understand cultural settings, boundaries and our modern day caste systems, then you can feel the glory and pain from the days of kings in Africa to the new kings of the media. Let the ball players dance after they score! It's life my n---as, it's life!"

Finally he said, "Remember clothing is a choice. We were born naked!!! Fresh is an opinion, love is objective, taste is selective and expression is my favorite elective."
