Jason Mraz decided to stop by the San Diego LGBT Community Center to learn about the facility, as well as the programs and services provided there!!
Mraz has been very open in the past about his support of sustainable living and equal rights, especially regarding marriage!!
Abby Schwartz, the Community Center's Women's & Senior's Resource Coordinator, said:
“Jason is a really unique, warm and caring person committed to spreading love through his music and his travels. He is surrounded by LGBT folk both personally and professionally and is passionate about issues that affect those he’s closest to. Jason realizes he has a platform that many do not and wants to use it to share a message of love, acceptance and equality for all.”
He apparently also plans on attending Sir Elton John's Oscar Party on Sunday so he can discuss a possible collaboration with the diva!!
We think it's FANTASTIC that Mraz would take the time out of his day just to learn about issues that our effecting the LGBT community!! What a great guy!!
